All Done

It's over. The surgery. After a small tiff with the anesthesiologist (yep, I had to spell check that word) everything went really well. No barfing this time and very little pain; no pain meds either. Yesterday I (for once) did what I was told and pretty much just laid around all day. Other than this post, I'm pretty much doing the same thing today. They told me 48 hours of rest; man that is hard for me. But, I certainly don't want another year of "leakage" so I'm determined to comply completely this time. Complying: no lifting anything over 10 lbs for 2 weeks (my cat weighs 10 lbs!) Then nothing over 15 for 6 weeks; no baths, no exercise (there go the arms I was starting to like again after weeks and weeks of boot-camp, darn it!) no "relations" with my DH (sorry, if that's TMI). So I'll be taking lots of dollar bills on my trip to Florida for the CTMH convention so that I can pay guys (get your minds out of the gutter) to carry my luggage, ha, ha. I'd write more today but I'm propped up on a pillow using my DH's laptop which is not even on my lap because he had to bring it to me (it's very heavy) and I can't lift it off my lap so this is not all that comfortable. More tomorrow when I can sit up at my own computer. Smiles everyone.

Prayer Request

Some of you may know that last year in Sept. I had a triple-part surgery from which I recovered just fine except for one part. Tomorrow at about 7 a.m. I get to have my bladder re-done. And while I am not all that nervous about it, (it should be quick and easy and the recovery time is minimal) I wouldn't mind a few prayers on my behalf. First that the Doctor makes sure he does what he needs to do to make it stick this time and second that I remember to take a little more time and care about my recovery so that I don't do anything to mess it up either. I am done, done, done with the problems I've been having so I want it to all be BETTER!!!!! Hopefully God feels the same way. (Smiles) Thanks in advance and God bless.

Layouts. . . .

Well, these were supposed to load side by side as they are the two pages that go together for one layout but it won't let me get them that way, sorry! I almost always do pages in a "layout" format since I like the pages that you will see together in an album to coordinate. Anyway I love how these pages turned out and they were very simple to do. I especially love the double title stamp on the left hand page. Enjoy.

Super Crazy Week

Here's the deal . . . . . Speed and Agility training for DS from 9-10 a.m. -- 3 days this week (this has been the same for the past 5 weeks), MAC camp everyday from 8 - 5 and VBS from 6-8:30 Mon-Thurs. Pile on a minor surgery for me Thurs. a.m. and well, let's just say the stress level goes way, way up when you are trying to explain to DH how everything is going to work. I know it will (work out I mean, it always does) and I have wonderful friends who are helping me out but here's the other thing. . . .Next week is NOT going to be any better!!!! Soccer camp from 9-10:30, S&A switched now from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. (because of conflict with soccer camp) and I'm leaving to go out of town from Wednesday through Sunday for the CTMH National Convention. DH also just informed me that he really can't take off while I am gone because another guy is out of the office all week. Yes, he knew about my trip but he just assumed (I guess) that I would have planned for someone to take care of DS and I just assumed (since he said he could when I booked this trip) that he would be taking time off work to take care of DS. Throw in a request for DS to participate in a "Beat the Heat" Soccer tournament the following weekend and there's no time for that short little family trip I was hoping we could take before school starts. CRAP!!! (Sorry!) Well, I did say that from time to time there would be some "ranting" going on so this just that. I'll let you know how it all turns out. In the mean time I'll do another post with something scrapbooking related to inspire instead of bring you down. Ciao!
